Head to Symphony Space on November 18th at 7:30pm for a night of new mini-musicals! This year, I was chosen as part of Prospect Theater Company’s theater lab, which selects 9 writing teams to each create a new 10-minute musical around a shared theme. This year’s theme was “Potluck: A Musical Feast” and I couldn’t be more excited to share the show I co-wrote with collaborator Brooke Trumm, “A Piece of the Past.”

This program challenges its writers to create their show in about 2.5 weeks, and then are given 5 short rehearsals with our actors and music directors. This is definitely the fastest I’ve ever finished a new project, and I was THRILLED to be able to share the writing/notating/demo creating/revising duties with Brooke, and am so proud of what we came up with.
