I’m so thrilled to announce that the song “Fade Away” written by Brooke Trumm and myself was chosen as one of the winners of the 2024 Write Out Loud Contest! This was one of the songs we wrote for our 10-minute musical, A Piece of the Past, which was written for Prospect Theatre’s Musical Theater Lab in 2023, and was also performed at Theater Now’s SOUND BITES festival in May 2024.
Winners will get a professional recording of their song with Broadway performers, and all songs from the winners and finalists will be performed at 54 Below on September 9th (tickets available now)!
